First, the Active Permanent Casing structure. This casing structure is the backbone of any Desjoyaux pool. The casing is injection moulded in recycled polypropylene at the Desjoyaux factory near St Etienne in France. The hollow panels are connected together to form the pool walls and the chimneys are then filled with concrete at the same time as the pool base. This provides a completely free standing rigid structure, unlike any other in the market today. This, twinned with a pipe-free one piece filtration unit that has eliminated the need for pool houses, underground pipe-work and the need for backwashing to clean the system.
