The bar cover is suitable for use all year round, in all weather conditions. The cover's thermal properties help the pool gain and retain heat; its opaque design minimises photosynthesis and the growth of algae and other micro-organisms all year round. The bars connect to a cover reel for easy movement, and this system can be automated with the Rolltrott option.

Recommendations for use

Winterisation

Winterisation It is very important not to drain your pool. Keep the water level up to the top two-thirds of the skimmer, to avoid compromising the cover's safety properties (which are dependent on the load-bearing capacity of the water). Simply remove the pump, leaving the filtration unit in place on the pool.

Water level required during the winter period: top two-thirds of the skimmer (the water level should not be allowed to descend below 150 mm from the top of the coping boards).

Maintenance

To prevent any risk of tubes becoming irreversibly bent or twisted, we recommend clearing the cover of snow, fallen leaves and any other objects that might block its drain holes (which could cause water pockets to form). Clean the cover using soapy water and a soft sponge. Never use alcohol or solvents. Never use abrasive tools or a pressure washer. Do not clean the bar cover while it is installed over the pool. Use only replacement parts approved by the supplier/installer. Use only genuine replacement parts that comply with the specifications in the applicable standard.

Automatic cover reel: Roll Trot

The optional Roll Trot accessory motorises the cover's movements, allowing it to be deployed effortlessly. It is suitable for use with all Desjoyaux bar covers.

Recommendations for use

If you do not intend to use the Rolltrot for an extended period, store it in a cool place, and recharge the battery every six months using the dedicated charger. Store the Rolltrot in a dry place, out of the reach of children and away from products that contain chlorine.
