Pool Maintenance made easy
At Desjoyaux we also offer the JD SEA SEL, an electrolysis system to take all the guess work out of water testing. It works by adding a small amount of salt to the pool water. After the water is filtered, it is then treated by electrolysis, which converts the salt into a powerful sterilising agent that kills off all the algae and bacteria and oxidising any organic residues.
Swimming Pool Maintenance - Desjoyaux
It is very important to ensure that your pool water is dosed with the best quality chemical products and that the alkalinity and pH are kept at the correct level.
Make sure that the alkalinity level of the pool water is kept within the range of 80-160ppm to help keep the pH level of the water correct. The ideal pH for a swimming pool is 7.2 to 7.6. If the pool water is maintained within this range the chlorine will be at its most effective.
